What to include in your fabrication drawing for a faster quote

Getting a fast and precise quote for your custom steel fabrications saves valuable engineering lead time. When you submit drawings to Technical Crew, our estimation team reviews them immediately. To speed up this process, ensure your drawings include these key details:

1. Material Specifications

Clearly state the grade of steel required (e.g., Grade A36 mild steel, Grade 304 or 316 stainless steel) and the section profiles (RHS, I-beam, flat bar).

2. Connection Details

Specify whether joints are fully welded (MIG/TIG) or bolt-connected. Include bolt sizes and pitch where applicable.

3. Surface Finish

Let us know the environment the product will face. Specify if you require simple anti-corrosive primer, a custom RAL powder-coat, or hot-dip galvanizing for marine environments.
